For quite some time, the Samsung Galaxy A22 has been rumored. The model comes in two versions: Galaxy A22 4G and Galaxy A22 5G. The 5G model was created primarily to provide people with low-cost 5G phones. In Nepal, the 4G variant has launched, which is the direct successor to the Galaxy A21s. We’ll go over the Samsung Galaxy A22 (4G)  specifications and features, as well as its official price in Nepal.

Display and Design

The Galaxy A22 features a big 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. The term “Infinity-U” alludes to the display’s tear-drop notch. The display also features a 90Hz Refresh Rate, which smooths out everything on the screen. A Glass Layer protects the display, preventing scratches, cracks, and dents.

The display has a brightness of 600 nits and a resolution of 720x1600p. As a result, every material will appear sharp and vibrant. As a result, the display gives a completely immersive visual experience, allowing you to watch your favorite movie or other entertainment uninterrupted. The 90Hz refresh rate makes gaming and streaming even more enjoyable. The gadget has a design that is very similar to the Galaxy A12. Everything is similar, from the finish to the placement of the rear camera module. The Galaxy A22, on the other hand, comes in a wider range of colors, including Black, White, Mint, and Violet. This allows you to express yourself in the way that you deem fit. Nonetheless, the item is easy to grasp in hand due to its smooth symmetrical form and round pleasant edges.

The front bezels aren’t too thick or too thin, but they’re right in the middle. The chin bezel is visible, as is characteristic with low-cost phones. On the right edge, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as volume controls. The 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C 2.0 connector are located on the bottom edge, while the SIM Tray is located on the left edge. The Galaxy A22 boasts a sleek and appealing appearance overall.

Camera

The smartphone features a quad-camera setup on the back. The star of the show is the 48MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). There’s also an 8MP camera with a wider field of view. For portrait and macro photography, two additional sensors are included. A 13MP selfie camera is located on the front of the phone.

To recap, the Quad Rear Camera and Front Camera both perform admirably. It’s nice to have this setup in a reasonably priced phone. Furthermore, all of Samsung’s competitors are doing the same thing, so Samsung will have to compete hard. Overall, the camera on this handset is Galaxy-worthy.

Battery, Connectivity and Performance

A 5000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A22. This battery is built to endure throughout the day, allowing you to get the most out of your smartphone. Furthermore, 15W Adaptive Fast Charging is supported by this battery. As a result, you can charge your battery more fast than with other low-cost smartphones.

The MediaTek Helio G80 CPU powers the device. It’s a 12nm chip, and it’s also included in Samsung’s Galaxy A32 smartphone (4G). The chipset has MediaTek Hyper Engine, which improves gaming performance by better managing CPU, GPU, and network resources.

There are two RAM options for the Galaxy A22: 4GB and 6GB. 64GB to 128GB of internal storage are available.

For connection, there’s a 4G network, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C 2.0, and loudspeakers. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor, GPS, Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, and Compass are among the many connectivity options.
