The Gionee M15 is a mid-range smartphone that was released in Nigeria in May 2021. The phone has a bezel-less punch-hole display, a Mediatek Helio G90 SoC, a 48MP camera, a 5,100mAh battery, and more.
Design, Display and Performance
Starting with the design of the Gionee M15, it has a beautiful and stylish appearance. It has a matte finish and a polycarbonate back panel. The display is surrounded by small bezels. The phone has a center-aligned camera cutout on top of the screen that houses the front-facing camera.
The Gionee M15 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It also has a 20:9 aspect ratio, an 84.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 395 PPI pixel density. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back for added security.
The Gionee M15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90 chipset, which provides excellent performance. It’s an octa-core processor with two Cortex-A76 CPU cores that clock up to 2.05GHz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores that clock at 2.0GHz, all built on a 12 nm technology. We have a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU for graphics. It has a 6GB/8GB RAM configuration and a 128GB internal storage capacity. Battery
The phone is powered by a large 5,100mAh battery that also supports 18 W rapid charging. A USB Type-C port is used to charge it.The phone has a 4G network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, 3.5mm Headphone jack, Loud Speakers, and other connectivity options.
Camera
As for the optical department of the smartphone, Gionee M15 arrives with a quad rear camera setup with a rectangular camera module. It consists of a 48 MP Samsung GM1 sensor as the main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor. At the front, it houses a 16 MP sensor for the front camera to quench your thirst for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording up to 1080p at 30fps.
