Honor (stylized and marketed as HONOR) is a smartphone brand owned by Huawei Technologies. As part of the Huawei Consumer Business Group's dual-brand strategy, Honor provides smartphone handsets targeting young consumers but has released tablet computers and wearable technology as well.

Honor 7S

The Honor 7S looks good and has an attractive price. However, the spec sheet is a bit too modest, even considering the low price. The processor is relatively weak, and this phone stuttered throughout our time with it. There's only 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and no fingerprint sensor.

Honor 8S

Honor 8S smartphone was launched in April 2019. The phone comes with a 5.71-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Honor 8S is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 (MT6761) processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM. The Honor 8S runs Android Pie and is powered by a 3020mAh battery.

Honor 8A Lite

The Honor 8A Lite has a screen size of 6.09 inches with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. It has an IPS LCD display which is the same as in Honor 8A. It has a dewdrop notch and noticeable bezels. This phone comes in 2 colors: Black and Blue.

Honor 8A Pro

Honor 8A Pro smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core, 2.3 GHz, Cortex A53 processor. It runs on the MediaTek Helio P35 Chipset. It has 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Honor 8A Pro smartphone has a IPS LCD display. It measures 156.2 mm x 73.5 mm x 8 mm and weighs 150 grams. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels and 282 ppi pixel density.

Honor 9X Lite

Honor 9X Lite smartphone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system. The phone is powered by Octa core (2.2 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A73 + 1.7 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor. It runs on the HiSilicon Kirin 710 Chipset. It has 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Honor 9X

Honor 9X succeeds the Honor 8X and brings some notable aesthetic as well as performance upgrades. The notch-less full-HD+ display is sufficiently sharp and punchy, but outdoor visibility is a bit sub-par and the large size makes one-handed usage difficult. The Kirin 710F ticking at its heart handles day-to-day tasks with ease, but it stutters at graphics-intensive games, and synthetic benchmarks narrate the same story as well.

About Honor

Honor (stylized and marketed as HONOR) is a smartphone brand owned by Huawei Technologies. As part of the Huawei Consumer Business Group's dual-brand strategy, Honor provides smartphone handsets targeting young consumers but has released tablet computers and wearable technology as well.

As of 2016, George Zhao serves as global president of Honor, and Eva Wimmers serves as the president of the brand in Europe and is the global VP.

Founded in 2013, Honor's line of cost-effective smartphones allows Huawei to compete with mid-range online smartphone brands in China and globally.

As of 2016, Honor sells its products mainly online through its own sites as well as via third-party online retailers. Some Honor products are available to purchase at stores in select markets. Honor offers smartphones at lower prices because the company saves money by operating online. Fans who join the "HONOR Club" receive further product discounts.

According to phoneArena, Honor smartphones are visually distinctive because of their "hue-shifting glass backs," offering users "beautiful gradients with every viewing angle."

The Dynamic Holographic Design of the HONOR 20 Series improves on this concept, which Honor president George Zhao told Xinhua News Agency in May 2019: "At HONOR, we follow the [design] ethos 'Always Better' in everything we do." An example might be the wallpaper supplied for the Honor Band wearables, which in English-language version are available with a choice of dial designs including an attractive series of twelve showing the principal stars and a symbolic representation of the twelve signs of the zodiac, with three-letter identifying acronyms (however, Aquarius is in error, showing "Arg" instead of "Aqu".
