Realme (stylized as realme) is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen. It was the new logo after the launch of Realme 2. The brand was launched on May 4, 2018 by Sky Li (Li Bingzhong), who was former vice president of Oppo Electronics. Realme also produces a wide variety of other products such as headphones, fitness bands, and bags.

The Realme 6i is a budget smartphone from Realme and is a toned-down version of the Realme 6. This smartphone sports some interesting hardware such as the 90Hz display which isn't available from the competition. The Realme 6 sports a 6.5-inch display and has a hole-punch design to accommodate the selfie camera.

Realme (stylized as realme) is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Shenzhen. It was the new logo after the launch of Realme 2. The brand was launched on May 4, 2018 by Sky Li (Li Bingzhong), who was former vice president of Oppo Electronics. Realme also produces a wide variety of other products such as headphones, fitness bands, and bags.

Realme first appeared in China in 2010 with the name "OPPO Real".[1] It was a sub-brand of OPPO Electronics Corporation (which is itself a subsidiary of BBK Electronics until its creation in 2018. Oppo did not specify whether it had transferred its participation in Realme to BBK.

They are a spinoff from Oppo.

On July 30, 2018, former OPPO Vice President and Head of OPPO's Overseas Department, Sky Li, announced his official resignation from OPPO and his intention to establish Realme as an independent brand on the Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo. He declared that in the future, the Realme brand would focus on providing mobile phones with solid performance and stylish design, offering young people a joyful life with affordable "technology" and "beauty".
